The Wake and Groove sessions were born out of the pandemic of 2020 with the sole purpose of lifting peoples spirits and engaging with my friends on Facebook LIVE. It began as Coffee & Monkey Business with me getting up every morning and spinning for friends. Unfortunately Facebook live was not designed for live streaming of music. So after many requests from friends to keep going and not really knowing what platform to use, I decided to give Mixcloud a chance. I brought some of those beautiful friends with me for the live shows and have since met many many more who we now all refer to as “Wake and Groovers”. We engage live through chat during the show Monday – Friday at 9am C.S.T until 11:00am. The first hour and a half is music and the last half hour we all vote for the days featured artist and play them for the remaining 30 minutes. This show focuses on a themes of various kinds. I encourage you to tune in and join me and the good people in the chat for a few drinks and general fun.
